Caspian Group’s history takes place since the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan when it brought the first international investors to the country. It was an early investor in Kaspi Bank, which the Group later sold to Baring Vostok.
Caspian Group practically created the Kazakhstan’s automobile manufacturing sector from scratch. In December 2018, it sold the majority stake in its auto industrial business Allur Group to the Chinese consortium of China National Machinery IMP.&EXP.CORP (part of China General Technology Group) and JAC Motors.
