At the meeting, the prospects of the Alatau City project realization were discussed.
In particular, there was a thorough exchange of views on the effective development of Alatau City with the attraction of foreign investments, technologies and competencies.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that in May of this year, the General Plan of Alatau City, developed jointly with Surbana Jurong, a Singaporean company, was adopted.
Noting Wong Heang Fine`s solid experience in implementing such projects, the President expressed confidence that his recommendations as the chief consultant will find practical implementation in the design and construction of the new city designed to become an international business hub.
