39.4 billion tenge of investments have been attracted to the Alatau city since the beginning of the year. This is almost 79% of the planned amount.

According to the akimat of Almaty region, 39,4 billion tenge has been attracted to the Alatau city since the beginning of the year. 7 projects will be implemented. A plant for the production of salty snacks, worth more than 80 billion tenge is under construction. As well as the construction of a logistics park worth 45 billion tenge with the creation of 2000 jobs. As of today, 1015 jobs have already been established in Alatau city. This is more than 90% of planned amount. The implementation of all investment projects will significantly increase the number of new workplaces.

Special economic zone “Alatau” is the largest in Central Asia and Eastern Europe and is one of the five largest economic zones in the world. And the territory of the zone is comparable to cities such Singapore or Berlin. Now there are two big enterprises, operating in the SEZ Alatau. These are the production of fiber cement panels and the “Zhetygen” transport and logistics complex. By the end of the year, SEZ Alatau will conclude 10 memoranda. Next year, it is planned to sign investment agreements with 15 more companies.
