The President was briefed on the main indicators of socio-economic development of the region for January-May 2024.
During the meeting, the prospects for the development of the regional centre of Konaev, the new city of Alatau and the entire agglomeration were discussed. The head of state was presented the interim results of the development of urban planning documentation.
Following the meeting, Kasym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to continue working on the implementation of strategic development plans of the region, as well as to intensify efforts to interact with potential investors for the implementation of the flagship project Alatau City.
