The law on the special status of the city of Alatau was adopted in Kazakhstan

It was approved at a joint meeting of both chambers of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On Thursday, March 27, at an expanded meeting of both chambers of Parliament, a new law was adopted in the second reading — the Constitutional law "On the special legal regime of the city of Alatau." The document separately clarifies the possibility of applying a special legal regime both in the city itself and in the suburban area, taking into account the prospects for further development.

The draft law has been clarified with new concepts, regulating business conditions and investment incentive measures. Among them are "priority areas of the city of Alatau", "business license", "regulatory authorization" and "tax preference".

The principles of financial stability and transparency have been strengthened for the stability of the tax regime for investment projects. It provides for publicly available information on the amounts of investment obligations, benefits and preferences granted.
