The project's European roadshow kicked off with negotiations involving international investors, banks and financial institutions
The Alatau City Investment Roundtable was held in London, resulting in the signing of nine agreements with international partners representing a total investment potential of $1.3 billion. The event brought together representatives of more than 70 companies, investment funds, banks and expert organizations. The meeting marked the launch of a European roadshow aimed at attracting international capital for the development of Alatau City.
Participants were presented with the Alatau City development concept, the city's investment opportunities, promising infrastructure projects and mechanisms for attracting foreign capital to support their implementation.
Particular attention was paid to Alatau City's legal framework. The special legal regime, established by the Constitutional Law of May 8, 2026, provides for the application of the principles of the law of England and Wales, modern investment protection mechanisms and the establishment of a predictable business environment.
The expert session featured representatives of international law firms Norton Rose Fulbright, Reed Smith and Boies Schiller Flexner. Discussions focused on legal mechanisms for attracting investment, public-private partnerships, international arbitration, digital asset regulation and the resolution of commercial disputes.
Participants also explored the prospects for establishing a specialized Alatau City Investment Court operating under the principles of English law.
The investment roadshow will continue with negotiations involving representatives of UK government bodies, financial institutions and strategic partners. The next stage of the European programme will include investment meetings in Germany.
