The Minister of National Economy told about the new mortgage program, which will be launched from May 1, reports the correspondent of Tengrinews.kz.
In an interview with TV channel "24KZ" Minister of National Economy Nurlan Baibazarov said that the mortgage program, which will be launched on May 1, allocated 300 billion tenge. According to the Minister, since March 1 in the country worked mortgage program "Otau" from Otbasy Bank. There was a great demand for it and 18 thousand applications were submitted, of which 11 thousand were checked for compliance with the requirements, and they were actually approved. At the same time, allocated for the program 150 billion tenge will be enough for 7-8 thousand apartments, that is, the demand exceeded the capacity and therefore it is necessary to continue the introduction of new mortgage programs.
