Investments and infrastructure: The Prime Minister held a meeting of the Alatau City Development Council as part of the instructions of the Head of State, ZontNews.kz reports, citing the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

The meeting discussed the progress of investment projects, the pace of infrastructure development, as well as issues related to the legal ecosystem and approaches to building high-quality human capital.

Opening the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that the President is paying close attention to the development of Alatau City.

Alatau will become a unique technology center thanks to the creation of a special legal framework and the introduction of smart technologies at the design stage. Harry William Dobbs, member of the Alatau City Development Council and head of Harry Dobbs Design LTD, spoke about the prospects for the development of the metropolis and the creation of a favorable investment climate.

According to him, the constitutional, legal, and financial foundations that will ensure long-term predictability for business are currently being actively developed. The formation of transparent rules, noted Harry William Dobbs, is a key factor in attracting large international companies and private investors to projects such as Smart City.

"In Alatau, we have a unique opportunity to design a city from scratch, with these new ‘smart’ technologies from the very beginning. This does not happen often, and it allows Alatau to become a leader in this field as it develops, being a pioneer among those who integrate this from the very start," emphasized Harry William Dobbs.
