President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the important role of the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) in advancing Kazakh-Korean investment cooperation. He noted that Kazakhstan is interested in continuing its engagement with KIND, which participated in the implementation of the Big Almaty Ring Road project.
As a result of the meeting, the following documents were exchanged: a memorandum of understanding between Caspian Group and KIND; an agreement between the Alatau City Authority and KIND on the development of a master plan for the “Alatau Smart City” project; and a strategic agreement between the Qazaqstan Investment Corporation and KIND.
