The
Almaty region has signed a memorandum with the international company NATA
Holding from Turkey. The developer was offered to invest in the development of
Qonaev city and agricultural land of the Shengeldin array, according to the
akimat.
The
memorandum is expected to mark the beginning of a major infrastructure
partnership. The company may implement long-term projects in the region. The
meeting were attended by the regional governor, heads of regional departments,
and governors of Qonaev and Alatau. The Turkish delegation was led by the CEO
of NATA Holding.
"NATA
Holding, with its extensive portfolio, engineering expertise, and international
reputation, is undoubtedly an interesting and important partner for us. Your
experience in areas such as road, bridge, and infrastructure construction, as
well as the implementation of large-scale development projects, opens up broad
opportunities for joint work," said akim Marat Sultangaziev.
Namik
Tanik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the holding company, noted that
the signed memorandum will serve as the basis for further mutually beneficial
cooperation.
