Alatau will become a pioneer city for testing new technologies — Zhaslan Madiyev

Kazakhstan is building world-class digital infrastructure. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, Zhaslan Madiyev, at a meeting of the Foreign Investors’ Council, according to a Kazinform correspondent.
Speaking at the meeting, Zhaslan Madiyev announced that the city of Alatau would serve as a testing ground for new technologies and enable their scaling up prior to market launch.
— Another flagship project is the city of Alatau. We are creating a next-generation innovative city that serves as a testing ground for new technologies. Alatau will be a pioneer in tokenisation, with a digital economy and support for appropriate regulation of digital assets and fintech. It will also be one of the first major platforms for the autonomous operation of self-driving cars, drones and digital public services. This will provide a unique environment for companies to test and scale up technologies before they are launched on the market. We are exploring opportunities for cooperation and inviting partners,” said Zhaslan Madiyev.
